Hi everyone - can anyone tell me if they have ever gotten a death certificate from the 1880's? I just sent for one and was wondering exactly what information may be on it. I am especially interested to know if the deceased person's parents are listed. Since I have never seen one that old I do not know what the form looks like or what they ask. On a side note - I think that these lists ( Brooklyn & Queens) are the most helpful, friendly and knowledgable of all the lists I subscribe to. Looking forward to hearing from someone out there.
