    3. I uploaded my tree to a site called www.myheritage.com. It periodically sends via email possible matches with other trees. Quite a few were real. Using other trees as a starting point can have some benefits though. Be careful in joining that information with yours. I always save others info to it's own file, until I have verified their information. Unfortunately, many don't...and a lot of the info you find can turn out to be useless if that is what they have done. Take the info you find, and try to find sources to either confirm or dispute the info you find in ONE WORLD TREE. Joyce > How accurate do you believe the information is in One World Tree? 3. Someone asked me once for information on my family to verify if we were related....I gave him my website addy to check and he emailed me a couple of weeks later telling me proudly that we had a common relative and so he put my entire family on world tree and to go check it out. I was so angry! If I had wanted it there, I would have put it there! I looked for my family information and sure enough...he'd transcribed my information, making lots of mispellings and errors. I couldn't even speak for a couple of days, then wrote and told him of some of the errors he'd made but they've never been corrected. I don't even go to world family tree for that reason...I don't want to come across the postings again...I don't like feeling that angry. In addition to that, since then, some family members have attended classes on identity theft and requested that I remove their information from my website, which I did....but there is no way for me to remove it from sites someone else might've transcribed it to.
