Sometimes I've just wanted to correct a name interpretation/ transcription of a census record (just how they have it in their database, not the actual document, of course), but they don't even offer that option. Even Ellis Island has a 'send us a correction' feature -- I've used it and they do it, even if it takes them months (and it does). They don't guarantee they'll change it, just that they'll look at it and see if you're right and change it if appropriate. That's good enough for me. I know they've made a few changes based on my submissions. Wish Ancestry was as responsive.
