* I am trying to find out if my great-aunt might have been divorced. She was married on November 15, 1903. Her husband remarried in 1910 but my great-aunt did not die in the time between the marriages. I have a copy of the book "Genealogical Resources in the New York Metropolitan Area" by Estelle M Guzik and it says that Kings County (Brooklyn) has Divorces, separations or annulments from c. 1850 to present. But the restrictions say the records can only be viewed by the parties or their attornies. It also says that the index libers are open to the public. I am hoping that some of the knowledgeable people on this list can tell me if I can look at the records or libers and that they cold lell me the address to write to and the possible fee that would be charged. Thanks in advance for any help you are able to provide. John McGreal Beaver, PA *
