One of my ancestors listed his birthplace as *"Brooklyn B"* on his daughter's 1905 birth certificate & I'm wondering if anyone knows what that refers to. He was born circa 1880-1883 and I've searched for his family in the census for so long, to no avail. I'm hoping this would offer a clue, so please let me know if you've seen this reference before!
