    3. Thanks - here's the info: Stephen Harrington, born circa 1879-1883, father possibly James, mother possibly Ellen. Both parents born in Ireland--no idea what county, though. Stephen allegedly grew up in Red Hook, 1905 document lists *"Brooklyn B"* as birthplace, and he's 23--making his birth year *1882*. 1907 birth cert for another daughter just lists Brooklyn, and that he's 28 -- making his birth year *1879*. Have not yet obtained birth certs for his sons born circa 1909 (Richard), circa 1911 (Edward), circa 1914 (William & Stephen - not twins to my knowledge, but I don't have any dates!) Found him in 1910 census only - he died in 1918, so no luck for 1920 census, and no WWI draft card since he died a few months before the required sign-up date for his group. He's listed here as 27--making his birth year *1883*. His death cert lists NO birth date, states only "US" as place of birth. He was a driver for the Transit Authority, living at 334 2nd Street, died at Metropolitan Hospital. He's listed here as 38 --making his birth year *1880* . I haven't been able to determine which microfilm to order the 1905 census, but in June, the birth certificate from June of that year lists 194 Nelson Street, Brooklyn. According to 1910 census, Stephen/Steven married Ellen Hussey/Hussy circa 1904, but I wasn't able to find their marriage cert! His surname is listed differently on various documents - Harington/Harongton/Harrington. His family (brothers/sisters/parents-not certain) were supposedly alive at the time of his death in 1918 & lived close enough to visit, but, again, I can not find anything!! If ANYONE can find ANY info....it'd be a damn miracle!!! Anyone up for the challenge? :) ~Sue Curley On Mon, Jun 2, 2008 at 5:10 PM, <Bbokken@aol.com> wrote: > You may want to post the names of the family and other > information you may have as there is always a possibility that > others may be able to assist you.
