Does anybody on the list know how I can trace my roots to the famous General Alexander von Kluck (1846-1934)?   My great grandma,  Martha (nee KLUCK)  LASKOWSKA has handed down a story to us that when she was a little girl, she remembers being on the knee of Alexander von KLUCK and I am having a difficult time substantiating this story.  I hope someone can help me with this puzzle.  My great grandma when she was young had fair hair and blue eyes and she was very short, only 5'2.   She was baptized in Jelen Poland (Germany) in the year 1874.  She died in 1962, age 88.  Married to Adam LASKOWSKI.  I am hoping posting on this list might be helpful in answering my question.  Thank you very much.  John Dvorak
