Have looked for a James St in Brooklyn on past and present maps as well as lists of street name changes but cannot find a James St anywhere. I have a Brooklyn death certificate that puts the place of death at 8 James St, Ward 2. There is also a James St. ME Church on a Brooklyn marriage record.
