There is a reference to a Rev G Scheibe in Nov, 1874 that he officated at some wedding at a brides house in the NY Times. A quick check of the times shows no other references to him. Nr 48 Allen appears to be a street address but not familiar with street or avenues doing that time period. I have an 1865 Certificate of Baptism which does not name the church, although it might have been on the seal at one time. The minister's name is, as best I can figure, G Scheibel, and under the name it says No 48. Allen ____.
