Good morning listers. I just got a message from www.footnote.com which may interest some of you. They have been working with the National Archives and today announce that the first batch of the Civil War Widows' Pension Files are now on line....on Footnote. I am happy to report that using FOOTNOTE I have found things on line that I never knew existed. They have a trial membership called FOOTNOTE All-Access Trial which you can use if you are not already a member. Happy hunting, Judie
