I am researching my Caverley ancestors. They came to the USA from Ireland in the 1840s. They were living in Brooklyn from 1853 and I believe some of their descendants may still be living in or close to the areas near metro NYC. I have been unable to locate anyone or any family who is listed in any phonebook in the area. I did find one but the phone number was unlisted. I descend from Richard and Mary Caverley (my gggrandparents) their son James Caverley (born 1852) was my Greatgrandfather. Both Richard and his son James worked in Brooklyn as Hatters. Sometime after 1885, James left and moved to Michigan where he died. I am trying to locate any Caverley's I can find who may have descended from that family. Can anyone help with suggestions of how I might locate anyone with the name Caverley or Caverly currently living in or near any of the Boroughs of NYC? Thanks. Russ Wood
