    1. [BKLYN] Petition for Naturalization Question
    2. Judy Scheer
    3. I have recently received my aunt's naturalization papers (certificate of arrival, declaration of intention & petition for naturalization). On the Petition for Naturalization, in the paragraph where the immigrant declares his intentions, it reads: "I have heretofore made petition for naturalization No. #### on Aug 11, 1928 at Bronx, NY in the Supreme Court, and such petition was dismissed or denied by that court for the following reasons, to wit: "lack of prosecution". Does anyone have any idea what "lack of prosecution" meant? Thanks for your help! Judy in PA
