Your Uncle Charles does not show up in any obituary in the NY Times. He is not interned in a popular Brooklyn cemetery called Greenwood. Although social security started in 1935 most listing on the index do not start until the early 60's. Ur only option would appear to be to order his death record from the Social security administration and/or get his application (SS%) from the SSA for further information. Chers to you across the pond. Bob Hi Folks, Greetings from Ireland. Could someone check the SSDI for me please. My Uncle Charles McAllister was born Belfast Co Antrim on 25 April 1903 He died NY on 4 July 1952 The last address I have for him is 1823 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn but this is 1931 I would like to find an Obit for him and his place of Burial in NY if at all possible. Thanking you in advance. Gareth C J Mac Allister . C ************** Gas prices getting you down? Search AOL Autos for fuel-efficient used cars. (http://autos.aol.com/used?ncid=aolaut00050000000007)
