Hello all, I'm hoping someone might help me with an empty space in my genealogy. Arthur Victor THAMM born 29 Aug 1885 NY 1900 census he's with parents Frank & Rebecca THAMM at 1687 Bergen St, Brooklyn ward 24, district 425. 1910 census he's with parents Frank & Rebecca THAMM at 1540 Gates Ave. Brooklyn ward 28 district 881. 1918 WW1 draft card index: his residence is listed as 633 Hamburg Ave. Brooklyn,Kings, NY (wife Jennie named as spouse) he was a machinist with Mergenthaler & Co. 1920 he's with wife Jennie at 633 Wilson Ave. Brooklyn Assembly district 20, district 1276. WW2 draft card index, 1942 : his residence is listed as 114 Covert St. Brooklyn,Kings,NY ((wife Jennie named as spouse) he's a machinist with the NY Journal. Social Security Death Index shows him as dying in Colorado (my dad and uncle both believe he never left Brooklyn, NY) in Feb. 1965. I cannot find him anywhere in the 1930 census, so it would be great to have any other information that I can add to my tree for him. Thank you in advance for any help any of you might offer. Lisa
Ancestry.com has him indexed as Arthur Stam, with wife "Jinnie," living at 633 Wilson Ave., Brooklyn, E.D. 1573, p. 4A.
