    1. Re: [BKLYN] Census tough in cheek humor
    2. I read that too. What a joke! Who can afford a one family search at these rates? The only hint of reality is that *someone* realizes that census records = moola. Hint, hint NYC DOH, Commissioner, Thomas FARLEY, MD, who refuses to forward age appropriate records to the NYC Municipal Archives. How does one authoritarian have the power to break tradition? Example, birth records up to 1936 should repose at the NYC Muni Archives, but now the Archives holds up to 1909. Commissioner Thomas FARLEY, MD NYC DOH & Mental Hygiene 125 Worth Street New York, New York 10013-4006 FARLEY: http://www.nyc.gov/html/doh/html/commish/combio.shtml Any potential employer can track an applicant's credit score online, but we have to be 72 years old & born early in the census year, to view ourselves in a census, if we're alive. By then our credit scores will be posted on Ancestry. Agree, Joyce, about Congress' slippery palms. The National Basketball Assoc. settled its differences, before our US Congress agrees on a national budget! Each rep continues it play slam dunk games for their priorities, not those of constituents they were voted to represent. Let's get rid of all of them. Let them eat cake. Better yet, let Congress pay into Social Security so they can relate to US citizens. When you have something important to handle, a post mailed copy carries more weight. Also, no authority likes bad press. Letters to the Editor of newspapers, are more inclined to bring better results.
