Tomorrow (Thursday, November 10), a museum will open here (Brooklyn Navy Yard) that is as much dedicated to the site’s future as to its past. Now those of us who were left to wonder what went on beyond the Navy Yard’s gates will be able to just go and see. http://www.brooklyneagle.com/categories/category.php?category_id=27&id=47324 If the above URL breaks-up, then try: http://tinyurl.com/6puhlzb I hope this information is useful or, at least, interesting. Thank you Walter. My grandfather worked here back in the early 1920's... I am intrigued by this comment in the article and look forward to visiting the museum: "Visitors will also have access to a database of records and information related to those who worked in the yard’s shops and factories." ~~ Marge On Wed, Nov 9, 2011 at 7:37 PM, <[email protected]> wrote: > Tomorrow (Thursday, November 10), a museum will open here (Brooklyn Navy > Yard) that is as much dedicated to the site’s future as to its past.
