Thank you to Barb and Kathleen for all your help I did see the first indication of the business was in the 1892 Brooklyn directory. Then Kathleen from the ListServ found that Henry R Ruescher died in 1900 (just after the Census was taken) and is buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn. The funny thing is that he is buried just a few graves away from the family I am trying to connect the photo to. I don't see an indication of the business after 1900, so it may have closed with his death. But I think it is fair to say, at a minimum. that the H.C.
