I have been reading about how certain people may have been purposefully left out of the 1940 Census. I have not been able to find many of my Afro-American family in the 1940 Kings County, New York Census. I used the index on Ancestry.com, and did not find them, then I went page, by page, through the ED where that house was located without success. When I got to the ED page where the address should have been, I found an address for the House before where they lived, and the house number past where they lived, but their address was missing. Larry
