Greetings- I have an ancestor who was a Police Officer in Brooklyn when he was shot in the back in 1912. After the shooting his Police Department Transfer and Assignment card indicates that he was transferred to P.O. Squad (Precinct) and his duties were to the "Municipal Lodging House". A year later his duties continued there, but was now assigned to the Commissioners Office. Does anybody know what or where the Municipal Lodging House was? Thanks Phil
