    2. Hello Brooklyn, In the 1870 census, the mother and two children were living in Brooklyn, and the father is MIA. The family was intact in 1860, in Ossining, NY as McGAHREN. These transcribed church records pertain to Westchester County. there are three sacramental events, but in each case the named witnesses are unknown, but potential relatives or friends.
