I have an internment list from Calvary that was confusing. The burial date was Dec 23, 1897. I thought it must be a re-internment. When I called Calvary and asked about it I was told there was a note saying the body had come from Union Cemetery with no original date of burial. Looking on line it looks like Union Cemetery became Cedar Grove with the bodies being moved between Dec 1897 and Jan 1898. Union was noted as a Methodist Cemetery. For some reason I thought all my relatives would have been in Calvary, but apparently not. It also appears that they may not have been in Catholic Cemeteries. This family arrived in May of 1836, and settled in Greenpoint. I am looking for 4 burials from arrival in May 1836 to 1851 or so. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
