This does not look well for my future. First I had to find Pilgrim State then I had to find The Brooklyn Home for Children. Now I find my great grandfather was in the Hempstead County Home in Hicksville on Jerusalem where he had an accident and passed away. He was 88 years old and died in 1945. Does anyone know about this County Home in the 1940 census. Not sure these are all the facts. Eliz
