    2. Huntingdons
    3. Hi I am trying to confirm some details for Elizabeth Halton in the 1930 Census, and wondered if any kind soul with access could send a copy of the census page by email? a transcript acquired by a distant cousin was:- 1930 Census for New York, Kings Co, Brooklyn. (ED 77 Page 5A) 103 St Johns Place, Brooklyn; Elizabeth Halton, Owner; Value $9000; Age last Birthday: 75 years; Marital Status: Widow; Age at first Marriage: 30; POB: New York;Father POB: Ireland; Mothers POB: Ireland; Employment Status: None. She may have a sister Marian (also spelt Marrianne, Marionor or Maddie) Kennedy living with her (aged about 90). Her husband John Halton died in 1928, and Elizabeth died on 31 Mar 1940 but was recorded as aged 92 years, (I know ages record in Death Records are unreliable even when supplied by a close relative) Elizabeth's age varies considerably over the period 1900-1940. I do have the 1910 Census (living in St johns Place, Brooklyn), and neither she nor her husband appear to be listed in the 1920 Census. John A Halton is shown as Single in the 1900 census, but does have a much younger Elizabeth living as a boarder. No marriage has been found between 1900 and 1910. Thank-you Bernard.
