Sonja, In one message you say that Albert is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery and in the next you say you do not know where he is buried. If he is at Woodlawn Cemetery you should write to them and ask the location of the grave. You can also post a request for a photo at www.findagrave.com. New York City death certificates include the place and date of burial. Good luck, Veronica > Message-ID: <1256385043.792390@rootsweb.com> > Content-Type: text/plain; > > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: Esodem > Surnames: Eisel > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.newyork.counties.br onx/3557.2.1/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > Thank you for the tip to me is known, because I have received the death certificate from my great-grandfather in the original. It is put in the public family tree "Eisel Familienstammbaum" in ancestry by me. I have the problem to find the grave, although I know that he was buried on the 19th of February 1947 on the Woodlawn-Cemetery in the Bronx. I still search the obituary in the newspaper and a picture of his grave. Do you have an idea, how can I come to this information? > > Important Note: > The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I am for many years a member with ancestry and have built up this own public family tree "Eisel Stammbaum" with pictures and documents. This is everything my own pictures and my information which I have collected. I have the problem with the search for still living members of Albert Eisel who should have lived in the Bronx. Unfortunately, I have no information about him! I do not know whether he was married and whether he had children. I do not know on which cemetery in the Bronx he was buried. I know no the obituary and no grave! Now I need the help of experienced ancestry members in the Bronx. Maybe somebody remembers Albert Eisel or the family Eisel. Do you still have an idea where I could look or ask? I am glad about every tip! > Best regards, > Sonja > >
