Sounds like the same daughter i.e. Mary, with mother born in Canada, as that is where Alice Davis was born. Tracking backwards, Annie would have been born in 1882 which is impossible if she was on the 1880 census, age 2. But you know censuses. Is Annie married,widowed, single????
