Franz Denniger emigrated in 1880 with his parents Ludwig Denniger and Magdalena Schmäh and 6 other siblings to North Amerika and settled in New York (US_Census 1900/1910). Franz Denninger was a piano maker and he his quite famous in Durmersheim up to now, because he wrote in 1914 the text to the "Song of Durmersheim", a very emotional song.
