I have indeed ordered FHL film 1379538 (I live in Canada, so getting NARA films is not practical). From it, I hope to get Charle's (sorry, by mistake wrote "George" in my initial message) arrival info. My intention in looking for Bronx directories (if such exist), though, was also to find out what happened to Charles later. Also, there was a Sophie Badzo living at the same address in 1938. I'd like to see if I can find something about her after that year (eventually, she must've got married and changed her surname).
