Limerick IReland. http://www.wtv-zone.com/phyrst/audio/nfld/08/survivor.htm Above are the lyrics to my song now on our Newfoundland Sharecropper Trio cd entitled "Home,Boys!" It's an intriguing ongoing story. Yes, a lot of info has passed my desk...a lot I already know but every email sheds a little new light here and there. Maggie Madigan(Titanic Survivor)'s info is "incorrect" in many places and books. Apparently Senan Molony is coming out with a new book about the Titanic which is "supposed" to have more info on Maggie Madigan. So far no one knows where she is buried and other pertinent facts. Oh well, time will tell!! (Sean wrote "Irish Aboard the Titanic"(Wolfhound press) Have you dropped into the great website in Askeaton Ireland? Now I wish every town would do what Jennifer Walsh has done with this one....amazing stuff...well worth the visit. My great grandfather was born in Askeaton (as was Maggie Madigan) and this great little town is featured at http://www.askeatonbynet.com Let me know what you think of it some day. And if you are interested in hearing my song about Maggie, then drop into http://www.newfoundlanders.net/Titanic Of course the whole cd "Home,Boys!" is available at http://www.thesharecroppers.net Thanks again for responding. Feel free to comment again or visit Newfoundland...t'is Canada's best kept secret! Long may yer big jib draw.....cheers..Mike Madigan [email protected] Thanks....Mike Madigan
