First, I do not need census data, because I do already have it from 1860 through 1930. Ludwig (Louis) HEFELE b. abt. 1834 in Bavaria, Germany immigrated to New York assumedly Nov 1854 married before 1860 Barbara ULLRICH b. May 7, 1839 in Unterfranken, Bavaria, Germany immigrated to New York before 1860 (when?) They were my ggg-grand-aunt and -uncle. 1860 they lived in Morrisiana, Westchester, NY. Between Nov 1869 and Jul 1870 they moved to Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN where Ludwig worked as a gardener. There first 7 children were born in New York, 3 more in Indiana. Ludwig died in IN before 1890 whereupon Barbara moved back to New York where some of her siblings were living. With her the 7 still living children. There she lived in Bronx Borough until her death in 1919. These are there children and grandchildren: (partially found through the census sheets - errors reserved) 1. Joseph b. Jan 1874 Pennsylvania Children: Harriet, b. abt. 1903 Bronx, NY 4. Caroline b. abt. 1866 New York d. before 1880 Indiana 5. Katherine, b. abt. 1866 New York City She appears to have become a nun at the "House of the good shepard" in Philadelphia, PA. 6. Catherine b. Nov 1869 New York City d. before 1880 7. Frank b. abt. 1871 New York no further information 8. Louis J. Jr. b. Nov 1872 Evansville, IN married abt. 1900 New York Wilhelmina "Minnie" Schoeler or Schueler b. abt. 1869 New York Children: John R., b. Aug 1905 New York Margaretha, b. abt. 1907 New York Nicholas J., b. Aug 1910 New York Louis J., b. abt. 1915 New York 9. George Henry b.
