Tracing your information. It looks like you have Isidor in 1910 Census...20 years old, a painter, in New York on the Census...single...comes into US in 1904. I can find the family in 1930....Ysador now 41 and Yetter. They got married about 1908 as their oldest is born in 1909. Have you tried for their marriage certificate? Yetter came to the US in 1900... she got married when she was 16. Ysador says he came to the US in 1905...so consistent. Perhaps if not New York (and I tried the Morse One Step site Ellis Island Search Engine) maybe Philadelphia, or through Canada? Another 1930 item is that Ysador says he is naturalized. Although I couldn't find him on the online indexes.... have you tried the NY NARA? Have you tried Voter Registration files?? I couldn't find the family in 1920....and would try for that information. Perhaps they are in a City Directory circa 1920 and you can get an address to search on for the 1920 Census district. The 1920 Census would narrow the possible date of naturalization. Do you have the death certificates of Ysador and Yetter that might tell something of their backgrounds? Were they on the Social Security System....and do you have their Social Security applications? What is on their tombstones? There may still be avenues of research that will open up other possibilities. Joel Weintraub
