Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, Boston College has announced it's putting online the "The Search For Missing Friends" column through which Irish immigrants tried to find relatives and friends they'd lost track of. This is potentially an incredibly useful resource for those of us searching for *our* relatives. It previously was available only as an eight-volume collection of books.
