For those of you that don't know it, the Eastern District Naturalization project for the years up to 1926 is just about complete and is in the hands of the typists-volunteers. The next phase will be from 1927-1954 and this will be a monstrous project. Many volunteers will be needed. Here is your chance to give a little back to this passion. The work can be done in the comfort of your own home at your computer desk. A "stack" of photostated sheets will be sent to you for you to make the entries into a database. All you need is a computer and a spreadsheet program (Works, Excel etc) and begin typing. I'm not going to lie to you, the work is not hard but very tedious but with some patience, typing skills and decent vision can be accomplished very easily.
