Derbyshire, boilermaker, and Mary nee SMITH b. abt 1811 d. ? Derbyshire, Eng. Hannah nee STORER [spouse of Francis Henry] b. 8 Feb 1852 Horsley, Belper, Derbyshire, England d. aft 1920 bef 1930 probably Staten Island, Richmond Co, NY Her parents were John STORER b/d ? Derbyshire and Elizabeth nee unknown b/b? Derbyshire. Francis and Hannah were married 13 Sept 1871 Holloway Chapel, District of Belper, Derbyshire, England according to the rites and ceremonies of the Methodist Free Chruch. Witnesses: William Henry CHEETHAM or CHECTHAM and Martha STORER. Francis and Hannah's children: Harry b. 21 Apr 1872 Bridle Lane, Ripley, Belper, Derbyshire d.? Hurley, Ulster Co, NY Bertha b. 13 Sept 1873 Bridle Lane, Ripley, Belper, Derbyshire d.? USA Annie b. 10 Mar 1875 at 147 Greystock St, Briehtside[?] Bierlow, Brightside, Sheffield,Yorkshire d. ? USA Maria b. 27 Sept 1879 Bridle Lane, Ripley, Belper, Derbyshire Gertrude b. 1878, Derbyshire d. ? USA **Gertrude is listed on the 1881 British Census and in the 1900 US census, as well as the passenger list of the ship "Egypt", as a child of Francis and Hannah but no birth certificate for her seems to exist. She is the only one of the English born children for whom I can not obtain a birth certificate. Ethel b. Sept 1887 Staten Island, Richmond Co, NY d. ? NY Francis came to the US, assumed port of landing NYC, sometime after Jan 1879 and before Jun 1881. Hannah and the children followed leaving from Liverpool, Eng aboard the ship "Egypt" and arriving in NYC on 13 Dec 1881. In 1900 Francis and family lived on Richmond Ave, Northfield, Staten Island. Francis is listed as a Naturalized citizen in 1900. 1910 Francis and Hannah with daughter Ethel are living on Old Shore Rd, Granitville,Northfield, Richmond Co, NY. Daughter Annie has married Hugh WARD and lives next door. Daughter Bertha has married John S. LEWIS and also lives on Old Shore Rd. a few doors down. Son Harry is married to Isabelle Wilson EDWARDS. He also lives on Old Shore Rd. two families away from Bertha and John. Daughters Maria and Gertrude are unaccounted for 1910 and onwards. Son Harry is shown on the 1920 census as having applied for papers, "Pa" and now lives with his family on North St, Richmond Borough, NYC, Richmond Co, NY Thanks in advance for any information you or others can provide.
