You might want to post queries on the Suffolk County, Queens County and Kings County boards. Those counties are on Long Island. Nassau County is too, but it didn't exist until 1899. There is a Find a Board search window at the bottom of each page at an Ancestry.com message board. If you type Queens it will lead you to the proper board. Reg Niles
