The application is filed in the name Delfino Demetris and he signed the application that way. But, he states his father is Paul Delfino. He gives a Bronx address: 2394 Belmont Avenue. Date of birth: March 17, 1882 His emigration date is given as March 1907. There is a ship's manifest for the Celtic arriving April 1, 1907 carrying Delfino Demetris from Reggio Calabria. Unfortunately, there are no grave stones on these graves. It doesn't appear as if there ever were markers, as is the case with many of the graves in these older sections. Are you sure there are headstones on these graves? My great grandparents are also buried in Section 4, Range 8. It is rather a mess - not arranged in logical order and almost impossible to find the graves. This is understandable since it is one of the older parts of the cemetery. Someone would have to spend a lot of time there. I don't live in NY so can't help but wanted to share my experience from having searched for graves in that location.
