The first name of the daughter looks like Armie to me, and John T. Kelly did have a stepdaughter Armiah born in Canada, although she would be 48 not 38 in 1920. The last name is a puzzle though. Would there be city directories to further clarify who was living at that address in 1920? Armie had been married to Adelbert Perrier but they parted in 1900. Maybe she was remarried to someone called Gale/Galen/Gales- I can't read it. Do you have any thoughts on this? Would there be records when Armie became an American Citizen? She was married in Lowell, Mass. in 1895 the first time( to Perrier who was born in Troy, NY). She was baptised in Canada at age 2 as Kelly even though he was her stepfather. 2. Jim Garrity
    3. Dear Roundtable Members and Friends everywhere, On Sunday, June 7th, at 10:30 A.M., there will be a celebration commemorating the laying of the cornerstone of the first cathedral church in New York City 200 years ago. There will be a Bicentennial Mass which will be led by the Most Reverend Timothy M. Dolan, the Archbishop of New York, and a highlight of the parade will be a reenactment of New York State’s legendary 69th Regiment militia marching in front of the Cathedral on their way to the battlefields of the Civil War on April 23, 1861. This parade will wend its way through the streets of downtown Manhattan. For more details about this event, including the parade route, please go to: http://www.oldcathedral200.org/ Everyone is invited, regardless of faith or creed---and please come early, as it is expected that there will be a massive crowd in Manhattan on June 7th to attend this event! But, as the document furthest removed from the actual event, it is almost always suspect. His age (26) on the son's birth cert in 1898 and the 1900 census giving his birth as May 1872 would seem to bolster the argument for 1872. However, as we all know, the census can be very wrong. It is obviously wrong about their being married 3 years. I don't think you are going to find his birth info from any of the churches in the areas he was 25 or 30 years later. Your best bet is probably the archives. http://www.ci.nyc.ny.us/html/records/html/vitalrecords/birth.shtml Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
