This includes Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and Long Island for the years 1926-1955 or so. All you need is Microsoft Excel on your computer. The photostated index cards can be sent to you in the mail and you don't have to send them back. It's tedious work and sometimes boring but we need dedictated people that once they volunteer will stick with it. If you think this describes YOU, then please email me and I'll send your info on to glorious leader, John Martino. If you are local and wish to help out in person, we are also looking for people to meet us at NARA on Varick St. in Manhattan to help out with the photostating of the original records. Again, you can email me about this also. My email address is [email protected] Thank you Tony Sasso

And, if that is true, Samuel is a Son of the American Revolution. Hendricks was in the Westchester Militia for the war. It is hard to follow family lines with the pre-1950 census' because they only list the heads of households. Tony

In another household I found a Richerd Ryer with wife Jessie and another handful of children. Also living with Richard was a 76 year old Ellen Ryer. It leads me to believe that Ellen is Samuel's mother, father deceased, and she is living with her other son Richard. So...I would say he has at least one brother. There were other possibilities in Westchester but not in West Farms. Tony

It is very possible that this is the same family. Does the 1930 Census indicate: The current age of the three people? The current age of Harry Tucker? The relationship of the three people to the Head of Household? What is the exact numeric address on Colgate Avenue? What was the place of birth of the three people plus Harry Tucker? What was the year of immigration into the United States of the three people plus Harry Tucker? Any information about Naturalization? I know that I have asked too many questions, but this is a great find. I am getting this information for a close relative who lives in Argentina and is rather old.
