(Larson) Silfies Jul 9 1978 ANGELICA - Mrs. Agnes E. Silfies, 85, of Brooklyn Street, Angelica, died Friday at the Park Ridge Nursing Home in Rochester. Born in Hutchins, Pa., she lived most of her life in Angelica. She was the Widow of Oscar F. Silfies, who died in 1940. She was a member of the Angelica chapter of the Order of the Easter Star No 231, the Angelica Boosters, the Angelica Sunset Club , and attended the First United Methodist Church of Angelica. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Janet Roberts of Annandale, Va., Mrs. Bette Rowe of Rochester, and Mrs. Maxine Olsowsky of Angelica; eight grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Miss Lillian Larson of Mt. Jewett, Pa., and Mrs. Elsie Cummiskey of Olean; three brothers, Dr. Carl J. Larson of Avon Park, Fla., E. "Ted" Larson of Harrisburg, Pa., and Dr. Richard Larson of Marietta, Ga., several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A funeral will be at 5 p.m. today at the Richard E. Burt Funeral Home in Angelica with Rev. Ronald L. Reichman officiating. Angelica chapter Order of the Eastern Star will conduct memorial service at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
