We lived at the top of the hill on Klein Road just outside Short Tract, Allegany Co., NY (near Fillmore). The fire, which was electrical, burned the barn to the ground, killing many animals and destroying farm equipment. There was a large fire department response. I was 8 years old and we have long since moved away. I am interested in having some official public documentation of the fire for my family's geneaology records.
