His wife's name was Mattie (Murray) Williams, and their children were Irene, Charles and Howard Williams. Frank and Mattie were from Allegany County, and are buried in the Dimick Cemetery in the Town of Wirt. Frank was born in 1871 and died in 1953. Mattie was born in 1881 and died in 1927. Frank was adopted into the Benjamin and Ruth Williams family at a young age. Does anyone know the best way to trace a adoption in Allegany County in the 1870s-80s? It might not even have been recorded, I don't know; I'd like to find out what happened to Frank's biological parents if that's at all possible. Irene was my grandmother; she died in 1946 at age 43. Howard was born in 1917 and died in 1933 at age 16. All I know about Charles is that he went to Michigan. Also, Frank and his family spent some time in Ohio; apparently he owned a restaurant in Youngstown, sometime from the 1900s to 1940s. Any information appreciated.
