Very frustrating too, as we want to honor the dead by acknowledging them, and for some reason the church does not see it that way. The Stubler's are most probably in St Bonaventure Cemetery if they were buried in Allegany. Perhaps the historian in the Town of Allegany can suggest the best method of researching that cemetery.
