I have found that Josephs parents were Solomon and Polly Reynolds, and I found out from Friendship town clerk that Abels parents were Soliman Reynolds and Mary Ellis from RI. But that was all the index card said. I didnt get to look at it myself but I asked her to double check the spellings etc. And Abels first born son was named Ellis, so that does make sense to me. I also found another Solomon younger in Granger, Alleghany CO Ny, I will have to look into to see if maybe he is a younger sibling? But for now I am working on Joseph and Abel. I didn't know about Tompkins NY though. I wonder if Abel was there too? I will have to check into that. Thank you so very much for the info!!
