I found through another person tonight the Lorenzo Coon I was looking for. He turned up mentioned in the History of Allegany and in records or papers of the 3rd SDB church of Genesse,NY when it was organized June 2,1834. He was listed at that time as Orenzo. Seems he winds up listed as Orenzo at times and Lorenzo aother times in various records and census but is one in the same. He was married to Elizabeth Wright and they lived in Genesee, NY before moving to Berlin, WI. Much thanks to all. I now need to see where I can find the actual records from the 3rd SDB church of Genesee, NY. I will try the historical society of the SDB church. This was the biggest response I have ever had on the message boards. It is so nice to know there are so many helpful and willing souls out there. Hi, You're welcome, but I didn't do much. The Genesee churches (there were three) listings are in Don and Ilou Sanford's book on Western NY SDB churches. I wonder if she's related to our Artemesia Wright who married George Sherman.
