Shubel is my ggggrandfather. I've not been able to find out who his father & mother were, nor his wife's maiden name. Gilbert T. is one of his sons, my gggrandfather, and he and his wife Minerva are buried alongside Shubel & Sarah in Forest Hills Cemetery in Amity. Their oldest son was named James Shubel Fowler. I couldn't tell from your various posts if Samuel Fowler was Shubel's father. Of course, I would appreciate any information you can pass on. In the 1880 census, Gilbert indicates that both his mother and father were born in NY. I have quite a bit of information on Gilbert's descendants. Let me know if it would be helpful.
