He was a son of Wiliam R. Freeman of Knoxville and spent his boyhood days in the vicinity. He was 71 years old. He was a son of our highly respected elderly citizen of Knoxville, William R. Freeman, and he spent his boyhood days in this vicinity. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Josie FULMER Freeman, one daughter, Mrs. G. L. Ryan, of Rochester; ; his father and four sisters, Mrs. Frank Huster (?), Mrs. Esther M. Smith, Mrs. Augusta Gee, all of Knoxville, and Mrs. A. H. Seamans, of Williamsport, and one brother, Gus Freeman, of Chatham. Funeral services were held in the Scio M.E. Church Monday afternoon of this week at 2 o'clock and interment at that place. He was a member of the Masonic order and the Modern Workmen of America. The Masons had charge of service at the grave. Mrs. Seamans, of Wi! lliamsport, Mrs. Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hunter, of Knoxville, and Dr. Freeman Smith, a nephew, of Bath, attended the funeral.
