My name is Matthew Gonter... I found this website while googling my name for a project. It is rather exciting/creepy. My Dad, Ronald Joseph Gonter was born in Wellsville, NY. His dad was Mark Joseph Gonter and mother was Anne Gonter (Dont know my grandmothers maiden name). After talking with him he recalls my Grandfather saying there was a brother of his that was named Matthew, but that is about as far back as I have for my family history.
