The Rev. Cornelius DeGroat, pastor of the United Church of Friendship, officiated. Born in Cuba on June 29,1914, he was a son of Charles E. and Ethel Burt Jordan. In 1936, he married the former Julia Carney, who survives. Mr. Jordan was a retired farmer. Surviving, besides his widow, are a son Douglas Ward Jordan of Kendall; two daughters, Mrs. George (Donna) Wright of Cuba and Mrs. John (April) Spring of Portville; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Jordan of Limestone; and his stepmother, Mrs Eva Jordan of Cuba. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Hospital, Olean, or the American Heart Association.
