GREEN, passed away at his home Tuesday afternoon after a very serious illness of two months. He was born in Belfast, Oct. 11, 1907, and died Oct. 17, 1916. He was operated on at Cuba by Drs. HOUSE and THOMAS for tonsil and adenoid trouble. A few days later blood poisoning developed from running a rusty nail in his foot. Some time before then he had an attack of pneumonia which resulted in an abscess forming in his left lung which Dr. MOUNTAIN of Olean and Dr. MADISON operated on, removing a portion of rib to drain off the pus. Miss Emily TORKINGTON, a trained nurse, cared for him during his entire sickness. All that loving hands could do was done but to no avail. His little heart was too weak to stand such sickness. The funeral was held at the Baptist Church, October 20, at two o'clock, burial in Riverside Cemetery. Rev. H. SMITH officiated. His remarks were excellent. GREEN, Mrs. Orrin GREEN, Misses Nora and Frieda GREEN, Ernest HENDRY of Caneadea, Mrs. W. ELMER, Mrs. L BURCH, Mrs. Grace STEVENS, Mrs. Archie CURRIER and son Kenneth and Mrs. John HOEY of Oramel.
