She had been employed by the Perry Knitting Mill for 22 years. She had lived most of her life in Pike; was a member of the Pike Baptist Church and the Hunt-Stout American Legion Auxiliary. She was born October 3, 1906, in Quaker Bridge, the daughter of William Fay and Bertha REMINGTON. Her husband, Willis, died in 1961. Survivors are two sons; Clifford H. BEARDSLEY, of Wiscoy, Harold W. BEARDSLEY of Castile, two daughters, Mrs. Bonalyn PALKOWSKI of Marilla, and Mrs. Monica MILLS of Wiscoy; sisters, Mrs. Harlan BEARDSLEY, Sr. of Pike, Mrs. Olive WAITE of Kennedy, Mrs. Cleo HALE of California, Mrs. Edna STALFOR of Silver Springs, and a brother, Ernest RAFFERTY of Pike; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 16, at the Pike Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Louis CARUANA officiating. Burial will be in Alger Cemetery, Hume. [Transcribed by Louise Y.
