She was born May 22, 1911, in the Town of New Hudson, New York, a daughter of Mrs. Ola SOWERSBY and the late George SOWERSBY. She had lived in Rushford the past 29 years. Besides her husband, Donald BAKER, and her mother, Mrs. SOWERSBY of Batavia, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James (Donnalee) STEKL; two sons, Brian BAKER of Cuba and Tom BAKER, at home; three brothers, Lansing SOWERSBY of Batavia, Alton SOWERSBY of Corning, New York and Otto SOWERSBY of Hornby, New York. She was preceded in death by a son Larry BAKER. Friends may call this evening and Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Cline Funeral Chapel in Rushford where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 1965, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Harold COLLER of the Rushford Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in White Cemetery in Rushford. [Transcribed by Louise Y.
